How do product and research compound at Polynovea?
Polynovea combines commercially independent products with a longer-horizon behavioural-intelligence research programme. Products must solve real problems on their own. Where lawful, permissioned and scientifically suitable, their operation can also create governed evidence for deeper research.
Cross-domain transfer is tested, not assumed. Evidence has to earn the connection.

Operating model
Four parts. Different jobs.
Products, open infrastructure and research reinforce one another without collapsing into one claim.
Open Infrastructure
Polynovea's Content Operations Platform is release-complete and publicly available as self-hosted OSS at github.com/Polynovea/OSS1. MellowBase is the separate managed cloud service planned on the same foundation.
HBIF Research
HBIF is the longer-horizon behavioural-intelligence architecture: domain-specific systems at Layer 1, candidate shared behavioural state and dynamics at Layer 2, and a domain-independent human behavioural model as the long-horizon Layer 3 convergence target.
Evidence-Gated Transfer
Domain learning can inform shared research and return to products only where evidence supports transfer. Polynovea is building for compounding intelligence without pretending every domain is already the same system.

Layer 1 is domain-specific: each domain requires its own ontology, state, workflows and validation. Layer 2 contains candidate shared behavioural state and dynamics. Layer 3 is the long-horizon domain-independent convergence target, and nothing reaches it merely because it appears in one or two domains - transfer must survive explicit cross-domain testing.
No. Product access does not require surrendering unrestricted research rights. Research use must be separately permitted, purpose-bound and governed; customer operational data is not treated as unrestricted Polynovea research property.
